Felix Larher

Thursday, January 25, 2007

To be really honest the work of Felix makes me horny. Not in the t&a way, but that little extra something, the presence which separates the pros from the digicam bloke.

Burgerfatso!

Står til! Long time no see, den herre øl'en vi avtalte i høst kokte bort i kålen, men vi får prøve igjen!

The Illusion of Murder (*** top notch ***)

Monday, January 15, 2007

Brilliant story by Rogue & Kerry from the MaskOn crew. Visual Communcation in its purest form. That double mask sequence is cracking - YELP! Ha Ha. Good work guys, see you at the Balticon 07. Pages may load a bit slow cause of the massive traffic.

Exdrummer and SIRE

Friday, January 12, 2007

Well, I wish this was in my portfolio but Milk and Cookies took care of it in the best possible manner. Kudos! You want to click all the red spots you can find before moving to next section. I love it!

Very strong concept for SIRE, a foundation for non-commercial campaigns for urgent issues in society, draw attention to the shocking number of children in the Netherlands who are suffering without anyone taking notice (FWA).

Whats in a credit roll? New film graphics

Tuesday, January 09, 2007

The first thing Peter Miles did when he began work on the graphic design of Sofia Coppola's movie "Marie Antoinette" was to design a T-shirt for the production crew. "It was a tricky place to start," he recalled. "I had to do something very quickly, but knew that I'd be stuck with it for the rest of the film."

Pyial dreams about having his own house at the coast of a northern European country, with a small shop, gallery and garden, feeding wild potbelly pigs and cats between the cabbages and carrots.

Inbetween all of that the kiddo makes drawings.

Compromised Design

Tuesday, January 02, 2007

Ah. What a great new year it is indeed. Hope you had a great celebration, I certainly did.

Compromise is the refuge of the inept and weak–minded. It can be described in sugarcoated terms and even associated with lofty ideals for the purpose of misdirection, but compromise is nothing less than failure.

One of a designer’s responsibilities is to speak truth to power. The timid or insecure need not apply.

A designer unwilling to do so, and do so as a matter of course, should choose another profession. Speaking truth to power is not enough, though. Merely making strong, logical arguments may not do the trick. So it is required that we be adept at making convincing arguments that result in the proper accord.

Another great one by Andy Rutledge »
