Daniel Eatock, UK

Went to a very inpiring talk, actually one of the best I´ve been to, with Daniel Eatock on Saturday. Playful - almost childish - approach to problem solving, he is right on the borderline of graphic design and fine art. Concerned with invention, questioning, subverting and the transformation of the familiar, the all over quality of his concepts are resplendent. On the foundation33 site you will find archived projects. Spend some time on these sites its well worth...

Went to the same talk. I agree. It was great. What a great guy. :-)

All in all I thought it was a very nice seminar.

Go have a look at the crazy euphoric vivid world of swak. If in doubt - the portfolio is behind the tiny blinking numbers bottom left.

Try Advertising Agency

Friday, October 14, 2005

Prince of Kerning, Lord of the Lead - Pow (Apt) has designed a site for Norwegian ad agency Try, making them stand out from the rather sad and dull internet presence most of the agencies in Norway bear. Nice and bold way of presenting their work in TV, print and radio.

Evostruct Alternative Studio

Wednesday, October 12, 2005

The Evostruct Studio was set up by Frédéric Sofiyana who previously opened the Subakt studio. Lots of good things to see in the folio, although to me a little bit cluttered navigation.
