Sit back and be prepared to hear a detailed story. Involving men in uniform. Damsels in distress. Princes. Princesses. Mythical creatures. Whatever gets her panties damp.

Mercedes Benz - C Class (**** top notch ****)

Friday, June 22, 2007

Splendid campaign by Agency Republic. My favourite site so far in 2007! Experience the way in which the new C-Class put you into the optimum state of mind for driving via a series of interactive games. Especially love the one under the green(balance). The pure simplicity is almost to much for me. The use of sound is ingenious and the copy is short, very well written and to the point. Great work. Kudos.

I have always loved Mercs. There is no other carmaker on the planet that comes close to MB in heritage.

They used to over engineer their cars and you can find them running for decades all over the world.. Africa, Middle east, Asia you name it…a late eighties/early nineties model was the epitome of what a car design should be. BayEmVey (BMW) cannot touch mercedes IMHO.

BMW cars are just for sporty types who dont know what good design should be like the designing of good quality Mercedes Benz flooormat. They dont even have the heritage of merc and cannot touch that luxury ride. Disagree as you may but all cars aspire to be a Merc. Problem is that they diluted the brand by

1. Making MB exclusive for rich folks.

2. Classic designs replaced by un-merc like themes like ovoid lamps.

3. Not overengineering their cars like they used to. Fortunately, the new c-klasse is aiming to rectify 2 and 3.

If only they fix the #1 as well… forget toyota, you'd be looking at MB as world's numero uno.

Nike Skateboarding v3

Wednesday, June 20, 2007

Love the new Nike sktbrdng by Odopod. Sweet usability, Google map integration in the Store finder and a sexy colourscheme. If they could put just as much work into the use of sound it would be stripsy

Btw - I really wouldnt be seen in a pair of them Nike Blazers or Dunk High, ha ha I guess they are made for Swedes

Summer is here and I will be slowdiving on the posting. I am not online at home, havent even installed my computer, and I am not sure if I tend to either. No computer equals less waste of time, and more pleasant time with gorgeous girlfriend, gym, parklife, wakeboarding , chablis and gluten free cooking.

Project Skyward - Moved by Opposing Forces

Monday, June 04, 2007

Ryan Skyward and the crew has made the most beautiful album available at quality stores such as iTunes, Tonevendor and CDbaby. Sweeping layers of atmospheric guitar are combined with techy loops and breakbeats. When the vocals come in, ethereal voices harmonize adding a human texture and emotion to the soundscape. Perfect for a hammock and chablis sessions after a day on the wakeboard or your mate's fancy sailboat. Oh, yesterday was sweet I must say!
