Dixie Chicks - Death from above

Sunday, August 27, 2006

This is absolutely not my kind of music, but the new site for Dixie Chicks really blew me away! Dont let the first impression fool you! It's to bad that the best thing i can say about the music is that it has a pause-button...

Btw: Try if you can find the 2pac-squirrel! LOL

Mask on - Mask on!!

I don't know about you guys but I am pretty bored with the regular boy - girl thing, dating, dinners, making out. Why not play around a bit with gender and latex to get those juices really flowing.

Afflatus animus

15 years ago the internet was nonexistent to me. I could see some haut monde design on a skate deck that really stuck, and I spent the next 3 days trying to copy it. Now I spend up to 9 hours a day (including worktime :) ) online and it takes so much to feel the same joy and delectation from stuff these days and it really bugs me. I guess my main source of inspiration isn´t from graphic design anymore, but anything else. Eh.. anyhuuuuw - Supermarius sent me these upper echelon blogs for your sheer pleasure:

I read your blog all the time. it's really great :)
last summer i was rummaging through my parents' attic looking for artsitic inspiration, and i came across these boxes FULL of old life magainzes that we had gotten from my grandpa (we have 90% of the life magazines since 1920, maybe even earlier?) anyway, I found a lot of really disturbing ads in those magazines, and in the 60s i found this one about sugar. hope you enjoy :)

Today was both the end and the beginning of my world -i just discovered SI SCOTT (where have i been?!) … in my opinion, any other similar “TYPE” (pardon the pun) of artist pales in comparison to him … his exquisite, awe-inspiring art is everything i aspire for my own work to be … forget michelangelo, forget picasso -SI SCOTT is my hero!

Brad Harris photography

Wednesday, August 02, 2006

I had to share this beautifull photofolio of Brad Harris. It's not
often i see sites that manage to pull off keyboard-navigation with success, but in this case it works great. The japanese section reminds me of Lost in translation.
