Oh what glorious days we had in the beautiful city of Barcelona. The festival, the peeps, the weather, the Spanking Hot Spanish women, the tapas, all mint! Futurefarmers and John Meada did some super inspiring talks. Big props!

11th Annual Webby Awards Nominees & Winners

With nearly 70 categories, Website entries make up the majority of Webby Awards Winners, Nominees and Honorees. Some are beautiful to look at and interact with. Others are a testament to usability and functionality. And a handful excel across the board.

What strikes me is the total lack of typographic finesse in a lot of these and lots of other new sites as well. Should you care less about type treatment on screen? Of course not, and there is absolutely no excuse for it either.
