Spooky Vibes: The Very Best of Blind Mr. Jones CD

Blind Mr Jones recorded two critically acclaimed albums and were at the forefront of the early 1990's shoegazing scene. Produced by Chris Hufford (Radiohead, Slowdive, Chapterhouse), Blind Mr Jones temper youthful enthusiasm with a fluent pop sensibility whilst blending loud guitars with sensitive melodies. Their two (now impossible to get hold of) albums gained a great deal of radio and press support worldwide and invited inevitable comparisons with Ride. At tonevendor of course

Malory - Third Face full album preview

Malory is shoegaze at its best, with shimmering guitars and breathy vox.The Third Face is another excellent album. If you love shoegaze or dreamy techno pop in anyway, this album is for you. There is a full album preview on their site under the "release" section. Official malory website

The album is of course available at your favourite shoegazer pusher tonevendor.

Phat phat phat album, nice site on dreampop as well - keep it up! Good choice of pictures I can tell you are graphic artist :)

Best album since Slowdive - Souvlaki !!! Intricate layers of sound and the vocals are sung by angels.

20:23
Anonymous Anonymous said...

Malory is the best band since the "original scene" in the early nineties. Look out for all the american and canadian bands as well, shoegazing has grown out of proportions over there.

Monomen mp3 downloads

Monday, June 06, 2005

17 years old and packed with a truckload of talent. These guys are ready to leave the nest for sure. Beatbox, noisy monotone guitars, synth and superschizo vocals. Playing live with the confidence of Liberace - Norwegian pride in the vein of (primo) popface, lorraine and low frequency in stereo.

Download a couple of tracks here(music section)
